Who can get an ETA

Eligible Nationalities:



The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is designated for these nationalities; 



- United Arab Emirates

- Saudi Arabia

- Bahrain

- Oman Sultanate 

- Kuwait

- Qatar



Starting from 8 January, 2025, the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is to be required for these nationalities: 


       - North America & Caribbean

       - Central & South America

       - Oceania & Asia: For the countries that are exempted from the visa, which are: 

  • Brunei 
  • Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (including British national overseas)
  • Japan
  • Kiribati
  • Macao Special Administrative Region
  • Malaysia
  • Maldives
  • Marshall Islands
  • Federated States of Micronesia
  • Nauru
  • New Zealand
  • Palau
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Samoa
  • Singapore
  • Solomon Islands
  • South Korea
  • Taiwan (if you have a passport issued by Taiwan that includes in it the number of the identification card issued by the competent authority in Taiwan)
  • Tonga
  • Tuvalu



Starting from 2 April, 2025, the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is to be required for all European nationalities, applications begin by 5 March, 2025. 



All other nationalities are required to obtain a UK visa to enter the United Kingdom.
